Soap-on-a-Rope

Updated: Jul 27, 2022

We're excited to announce a new product launch today! Customers have asked us if we would be supplying these, so we're confirming the launch of six new soaps in our Soap-on-a Rope collection. All vegan, eco-friendly and with gorgeous fragrances that will make your shower cubicle smell amazing!

  • Ginger & Mandarin

  • Grapefruit & Neroli

  • Lavender

  • Lavender & Lemongrass

  • Patchouli

  • Sandalwood & May Chang

The handy rope keeps the soap from slipping out of your hands or dissolving into a soggy mess. To use, loop over the wrist to prevent the soap from falling into the shower & turn gently in your hands to create a rich, creamy lather. To store, hang to dry in the shower.

Soap-on-a-Rope is the Greatest thing since Sliced Bread!

While salacious rumours have started about the much-maligned soap-on-a-rope, its origin story is pretty virtuous. The first tethered bar was invented purely for functional purposes: Okay, it prevented the user from dropping said soap and kept it reasonably dry, so it didn't dissolve into a soggy blob. This intelligent British company devised a way to keep the soap relatively dry and stable. Since then, it's become a bit of a kitschy novelty, but consider the attached cord's handy application before you judge. Most importantly, it's a money saver as the soap will last longer. Then there's also the cleanliness factor (as it's not sitting in standing water and won't leave a trail of scum on the ledge). And, of course, wearing it on your wrist means no danger of dropping it.
